What is the problem with Outsourcing your billing to a Outsourced billing company? There are two main problems with Outsourced billing: Control and Communication. Outsourced billing companies typically own your patient database in the same way that a "collection company" owns the patient data when you send a patient to collections. A collection company collects the payment from the patient, subtracts their collection fees and send you (the provider) a check for the balance.
